The channel that the island creates next to San Cristobal Island offers excellent conditions to house colonies of sea lions.
Sea lions population and marine iguanas are most important species in the island, where dozens of them play in the turquoise water and dot the white sands to rest. Blue footed boobies, Darwin finches, brown pelicans, and frigate birds is their habitat.
Normally, if the weather permits we can visit a relaxed beach like Playa Ochoa Beach.
